As a cross cultural worker, I'm sometimes faced with many needs, but I try to keep my focus centered around my family, so the phone is great for me, too.Betsy de Cruzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07081162585307212930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3974164808743497962.post-85559524050342021852011-04-18T19:04:44.763-07:002011-04-18T19:04:44.763-07:00I've recently discovered the power of a phone ...I've recently discovered the power of a phone call. I can't visit my aunt in New Zealand, who is recovering from a car accident, but she was very uplifted just because we got to chat. Same with some other people in my life. While I can't be everywhere and save the world, I can do these little things. And if I start feeling useless, I can always remember that I'm still ministering when I serve my family.
Thanks for this great post!
Love,
LisaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04583972660437767750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3974164808743497962.post-82481223249643531232011-04-16T05:38:06.585-07:002011-04-16T05:38:06.585-07:00Thanks so much for your visit, Robin. Thanks so much for your visit, Robin.Betsy de Cruzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07081162585307212930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3974164808743497962.post-74412713384844491022011-04-16T05:37:36.269-07:002011-04-16T05:37:36.269-07:00Go Karin! Last nightat 9:30, I finished the sutlac (rice pudding) I was making for us, and I took my neighbor a big bowl of it on the spur of the moment. It was one small step in reaching out to her.Betsy de Cruzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07081162585307212930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3974164808743497962.post-85119982141259753782011-04-16T03:26:26.669-07:002011-04-16T03:26:26.669-07:00very encouraging post will think on the last quest...very encouraging post will think on the last question. blessed by youRobin Whttp://www.robinwebster9.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3974164808743497962.post-65169853144074173442011-04-16T02:44:15.607-07:002011-04-16T02:44:15.607-07:00Thank you again. I bought a pretty white and red dish towel to wrap it in...but then again wondered if I should really go into the effort. Thank you for cheering me one to do it. I will pray and ask the Lord for a word to go with the gift. As always you encourage me.Karinnoreply@blogger.com
